PROFILE
Rick Andreoli is a free-lance Illustrator, Graphic Designer, Art Director in Atlanta, GA.
After graduating from the University of Georgia with a BFA in commercial art, he served with the USAF in Southern California as a graphic and visual specialist for fighter pilot training instruction. After discharge, he immediately began working in the Los Angeles area as a free-lance illustrator and designer.
His interest in the entertainment industry led him to a position at NBC-TV Studio in Burbank as a graphic designer and illustrator for network television. His primary assignments over several years was creating illustrations and graphics for the Tonight Show, major NBC network productions and graphics for KNBC-TV Los Angeles. His Tonight Show artwork was nominated for an Emmy Award.
Rick's talent and experience next earned him a position as Graphic Design Supervisor at CBS-TV in Hollywood. He created broadcast and print images for CBS Network promotions, the Carol Burnett Show, the Dinah Show, and many others. In addition, he and a design partner designed the first computer animated, on-air CBS network ID.
He and his illustrator / designer partner next established their own studio in Los Angeles. There he continued his free-lance career creating images, logo designs and graphic animations for numerous clients in the advertising, television and film industries. He later worked in Art Director positions at several advertising agencies in the Orange County area for several years, where he also won awards for his illustration work.
He recently returned to the Atlanta area where he continues working on free-lance assignments.
Rick has always created his illustrations, graphics and design projects in a wide variety of styles and utilizing all media types. He currently creates artwork and design mostly in digital format, drawing on his background in working with many traditional, hand illustration techniques.
